Keep on wrapping until the height meets your needs:
Cut the tube you used to wrap, apply glue, stick it to an longitudinal paper tube, use a binder clip to clamp, wait until the glue is dry. This will make it more solid.
Wrap the longitudinal paper tubes like the way the images show, or you can use other ways, just make sure you can make the vase lip solid.
Use scissors to cut the redundant paper tubes.
